Recipe: Tandoori Chicken(Bachelor Version)
Hello, Beautiful People, I am Kesar from Kesariya, Welcome abode to my sweet small ship of everything..hehe..Today I am going to share a non-vegetarian recipe with all of you guys, I know this is a non-vegetarian recipe(chicken), no worries for vegan & vegetarian sweet people out there, I will do write a recipe soon for you guys too, so let's get straight to the recipe.
Hopefully, you can understand by the title that it is a bachelor version recipe which will take the least amount of effort & work process & it will taste awesome & look heavenly too.

Preparation time: 20 mins(maximum)
Cooking Time:2.5 hours to 3 roast (slow roasting)
N.b: Yes it does takes 3 hours max to cook, because I have prepared it on the 100 watts in pressure cook mode on my induction. And seriously guys, this recipe is not everyday kind of dish(though it is your personal preference), it takes the time, but it is worth it.
Utensils: Frying pan or Grill pan, or Tawa.
Ingredients:
* I have taken 700gms of chicken mixed breast & leg piece.
* 4-5 medium sized onion
* 10 garlic cloves
* 2 inches Ginger
*4-5 chilies
* 2 teaspoons cumin powder(Jeera)
* 2 teaspoons red chili powder(Lal Mirch)
*1.5 teaspoons Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
*2 tablespoons Curd
*Salt to taste
*Black pepper powder to taste(Kali Mirch)
* 4 cloves, 2 green cardamoms, 1-inch cinnamon stick(crushed).
*1 tablespoon oil(i have taken 1 teaspoon of olive oil & 1 teaspoon of mustard oil)
*1 tablespoon of butter.
The method for Marination:
*Washed the chicken, cut deep slits to all the pieces, so it can cook properly.
*In a mixture grinder or in the cheese grater, make a paste of onions, garlic, ginger & chilis.
*Now in a bowl add the onion, ginger, garlic paste, curd & all the dry spices, mix it well.
*Mix the marinated paste with the chicken pieces.
*Cover & Marinate it for 1 to 3 hours(actually I was a bit lazy for cooking so I kept it for 3.5 hours..hehe)
*Heat your pan, & then add the oil, heat it for 30 seconds to 1 minute(high flame/temperature) rest the chicken pieces, & the leftover marinated paste over it after 3-4 minutes, turn the chicken, it will be little reddish on the sides, then cover with a lid , then reduce the temperature medium for 5 minutes, stir the chicken & turn the chicken occasionally.
* After 5 minutes, reduce the heat/temperature to least setting, & let it cook, in between just stir & turn the chicken.
*when the chicken is half done, you can check, that the gravy is started is changing its color to reddish & thick, then add the butter, coat all the chicken pieces with the melted butter, & again cook it for1.5 hours.
* If your gravy is dried & you can also add a half cup of warm water, & then again cook it for 10 to 15 mins.
Serve it with jeera rice or chapati or plain rice & salad.
